Hello :)

Arthur is a Kiwi-Chinese director (now Sydney-based) who’s always been obsessed with film making magic—in all its messy forms.

He’s chased them in every way possible: from shooting POV guerilla films on a battered DSLR, to surviving as an extra on Avatar (yes, that blue one), even pixel-pushing VFX for blockbusters before realising his true calling wasn’t in the how of filmmaking, but the why: storytelling.

Today, Arthur applies his versatile, director-first approach to projects for clients such as Sony, Qantas, and Cadillac. He is skilled at balancing technical knowledge with creative storytelling to deliver compelling work.

He believes that all good stories deserve embellishment—whether that means creating heightened, visually striking scenes or capturing raw, authentic moments that resonate on a human level. Above all, he is driven by a simple goal: to craft work that is not only seen but remembered—blending craft, clarity, and a little bit of movie magic in every frame.
